Especially if you have no healer, tank(s) are all the more valuable.
I never had the problem dieing from 21 mobs in a dungeon as a pelt 3 full con (lvl 228 atm) Just know what you are doing and communicate with your team.
And people claiming they wanna be full tank is the very reason why i dont understand why anyone ever mention rodelero c3…
A full or semi tank can easily take 1 circle of squire to solve all his and their team mate’s problems in a grind or dungeon.
My leveling mate (Melee) and I (Cryono) have run Missions while leveling so often where people refused to take pots and sit on the noobfire 90% of the time while the rest was “working”. Sometimes you had the two other Melee resting after every 2-3 hit they got for another 2-3 min.
My friend tanked all the bosses even if they were 10+ higher. He tried. He potted. He died - sometimes.
Our “fun” in Missions ended when we ended up at the torch several times with the two of us. He had no HP. I had no SP. All three of our lovely “DPS” went instant afk. So, we sacrifized our run and let the mobs take the torch.
And this didn’t happen only once. It happend several times in all level-ranges. It also happend in Dungeons.
He blew out a lot of silver for pots (HP&SP) and for repair. He even wasted TP for those emergency repairs. Always tried to fullfill his “job”. Some may say, he was lucky that he always had a Cryo3 with him. In every healer missing run, all he had to do was taunt and block a few smacks from the leftovers from the Ice Pillar… Yet, he potted, tanked and quitted in the end. Not only his Swordie but the game. His frustration was big. Not because of the pots & repairs… but because of players of other classes bullshitting his class and/or made the runs totally chaotic with pulling more mobs on him, going for a teabreak at a noobfire midfight or simply going afk untill we arrived at the bosses.
I really hope they will find a fix for the swordman issue. Not only increasing their dmg but giving the class overall more passive defense like decreased durability-loss on their gear (not on the items durability in General…) and a huge increase of the HP rec would help too…

I am more bothered of dungeon teams that wont talk at all then whine later what the ■■■■ is taking too long
