Does this game still lack of Enchanting/item upgrade cap and insane farm for blessed shard to transcendence gear?

As title say, can’t really effort to play a game where wallet warriors reign supreme (golden, diamond anvils and blessed shard form gacha/leticia/whatever kind of cubes).

Also the irreducibles hardcores farming saalus with 10+ chars for transcendence their gears.

For don’t mention the RNG involved in the upgrade system, aswell with with broken blessed shard system that give back players shards for destroy transcendence items, punishing new/retuning players.

All this was the reason why i quit the game long ago and still wondering if all this still exist.

They buffed the base stats of all orange/legend grade weapons and armors. This results is anvil enhances being less relevant, while transcendance being more relevant.

Making an army of alts for Saalus is not as good as before, we only get 3 shards for the first 3 runs we do, after that its 1 shard per char. On top of that, they made saalus much harder(annoying), so doing 27319823817 saalus runs per day is not a good idea imo.

RNG is still used in anvil upgrades unfortunately.

This is no longer possible. Removing transcendance to get shards back is not a thing anymore.

The main difference from before and after the changes is that now a +11 trans10 is only a tiny bit weaker than a +16 tran10, so you dont need to gamble on anvils too much.

Episode 11 will change this a little, especially considering the multi-char = more income aspect.

Still, the P2Win aspect is strong till the level 420 update, so unless you’re in a guild and can benefit from being active 1-2 days per week for free attribute points, taking the game seriously at this point is a waste of time.

It’s too boring, too much competition for the few things that matter (Boruta/Field Bosses) and too much additional investment for ichoring,crafting and re-opening velcoffer/Earth Tower cubes.

Server performance is also still an issue, so not only does your wallet need to overperform but your computer & internet as well to cope with client problems and server lags.

@Zeucleio the fact that you can’t destroy anymore transcendence items to get back blessed shards is nice for reduce the gap between new/returning players and veterans.

Still if the difference of weapon upgrade was around +11 - +16 i wouldn’t even be pissed off for that, but there are insanely lucky or simply credit card warriors with insane level of item upgrade. Also the whole transcendence system with trans lvls is rng based (or it was) and the fact that the way to acquire blessed shards is very limitated makes the use of cubes too attractive to be competitive (both for sell costumes or whatever for silver to buy shards, or simply by acquiring shards with cubes).

Would be too good have a set upgrade cap to +20 and blessed shards dropping (in a moderated amount) from field dungeons, would make also them more alive and higher lvl higher chance to drop blessed.

Also reading about veloco weapon and random stats there is simply too much RNG for my taste to be an enjoyable game.

@Umineko Have read about Ep 11 update already but don’t think is going to be a solution.

Also like you say thre is too much competition for few things which made all the upgrading/transcendence/enchanting/randomstats system too much important to don’t be taked in consideration.

If you add pvp into this where increase your defensive stat with transcendence can make differnce between win & lose there is full p2w aspect. (calling this “full” because in other aspects of the game you can still reach the “end game” without the necessity of be so much competitive, but in pvp and worldbosses this stuff matter)

Very sad because this game have a great potential, it is suffering the same curse of Ragnarok, P2W, poorly designed endgame and RNG ruined the game.

Also, Blessed Shards drops from Elite Monsters from fields. 10% chance of dropping 2 Blessed shards per elite monster. They drop from Hunting Ground monsters too! (low chance, though)

you get 60 gem monthly from feud and 16 from boruta. Also saalus is capped to 3 char per account.

no,that’s wrong. You can still run saalus 1 time per character.
The only difference is that you get only 3 Sister Ainles Gift (2 blessed shards per box) for the first 3 characters you clear it with per day.

So, while you get ~3 shards for the first 3 runs, you’ll only receive 1 Blessed Cube for every further run completed. This doesn’t change the fact that with a 3% chance you can receive a Blessed Gem from the Blessed Cube, which means that running more Saalus per day increase the odds to receive a Blessed Gem instead of a single shard from the cube.

Completing Saalus also nets you 130-200k silver, so more characters = more additional silver income on top of the shards, so it’s more lucrative than e.g. farming hunting grounds if you have the equipment and investment on several chars to clear it multiple times.

And ever think about how many months need to transcendence full gear? for pve content you need only weapon, if you’re into territory wars and arena is a different story. Also huge difference in stop at let’s stay T6 and go for T10, for in the end start everything again because this game is still in development.
