Does STR/DEX Bokor focused on Bwa K. still work?
And what classes would you get if you’d build that.

I have this build currently and it’s very good for dungeons / normal questing.
But you’ll have a lot of trouble fighting bosses. Zombies can’t do anything against them and you don’t have any other skills to damage bosses.
You’ll also have trouble fighting single mobs with higher hp. Bwa Kayiman deals 1 hit per second regardless of how many zombies you have. So you have a very good AoE damage (1 hit per second on almost every mob in screen if you have enough zombies) but very bad single target DPS.
What if you grab Dievderby or Paladin as a secondary for the STR based skills?
Also… Toy Hammer+Arde Dagger makes for a good single target damage with auto attacks up to a certain point. Doesnt it?
You either get bokor 2 or paladin / diev for the physical skils.
Getting both doesnt feel like a good idea because there are better stuff to get at rank 5+
What is your planned build?
I went cleric C2 > Bokor C2 > Monk and i’m still monk C1 for now.
Haven’t decided yet if I want to go for the safe path and get monk C2 or risk something crazy and try to make a physical damage druid C1.
My path up to monk C1 was somewhat interesting. Killing field mobs was incredibly easy and Bwa K. is incredibly strong for that. However, whenever I met a boss I felt utterly useless and all I could do to damage it was auto-attack, and without any buffs it was very painful to kill bosses.
Also, It’s a bit hard to aim with it because of UI limitations, but hexing also increases Bwa K. damage by 30% with the dark property resistance decrease attribute. As a STR/DEX bokor C2 you have tons of points leftover. You can either get mackangal 5 and hexing 5 or just go for hexing 10. I haven’t tested mackangal but I doubt it’s very useful outside PvP, and I don’t PvP so I just skipped it. Leveling hexing also gives +1 AoE attack ratio per skill level so you get to hex more mobs if your hexing is lvl 10 (although the AoE area is still a bit small).
Tet Mamak La deals a little bit of damage if you stack many on top of eachother (and your zombies are far away enough from it so it doesn’t disappear). When you go through STR/DEX bokor C1 you literally have no damage skills so you can either spend 1 point in that skill to help you a little or completely skip it. If you know a boss fight is coming you can keep your zombies far away and use the skull to damage the boss (although again, the skill isn’t really very reliable since the boss needs to stand still).
As Monk C1 things get a lot easier. You probably want to max double punch asap because that’ll be your main damage skill together with Bwa K. Personally I think monk fits better into this build rather than Bokor C3 because when you finish the Bokor C2 path you’ll notice you seriously lack single target skills and double punch fills that role perfectly. I can’t imagine myself fighting bosses lvl 130+ with only my zombies to rely on.
Like I’ve mentioned before, the big thing about Bwa K. is not it’s damage. It does have a considerable damage but it’s not crazy awesome. The great thing about that skill is it’s crowd control capabilities. In the lvl 130 dungeon, for example, where everyone tends to die in the spell-casting mobs rooms, if you manage to get your zombie train circling around and giving CC to the mobs without getting hit (and thus cancelling Bwa K.) you won’t even need to heal your party members anymore. The trick to not get hit is to let someone else pull the mobs and have your zombies circling as that person brings the mobs into your zombies. The more zombies you have, the easier it is to do this because you can make bigger circles and you can spend more time further behind away from mobs. If there’s a lot of mobs around (and some not CC’ed) I also recommend you to keep jumping while casting Bwa K. to be less likely to be hit.
Sometimes you might want to be lazy and not move around at all. Bwa K. also deals damage when your zombies stand still but the skill isn’t as effective because the zombies tend to gather really close to eachother and make the effective area you deal damage a lot smaller. Also, if you intend to stand still, I recommend casting a safety wall because you’re very likely to get hit.
My build is mostly focused on evasion to dodge physical dmg mobs. It’s sort of essential having a high evasion so your Bwa K. doesn’t get cancelled on every arrow you are hit with. Bwa K. can also crit so having high DEX isn’t just for evasion itself.
If you want to forget about being a support and focus the most you can in dealing damage, you can switch cleric C2 for either krivis or priest.
With priest C1 you get blessing and monstrance. Getting Blessing isn’t essential at all when you just attack with Bwa K because Bwa K doesn’t seem to decrease your hit counts from blessing buff. You can, instead of getting priest C1, just buy blessing buff from pardoner in town and the buff will last the whole 1 hour duration if you only use Bwa K during your leveling. But remember that, when you go monk, double punch will decrease your hit counts for blessing so the buff will wear out quickly (thus it can be a good idea to get priest C1). Monstrance can also be nice to use between Bwa K runs because it gives you considerable DEX (I think 20% more?) but I honestly don’t like wasting time between my Bwa K channels because if you stop it for one second the mobs will get up and recover from the CCing.
With krivis you want to focus mostly on getting Zalciai and Daino. Daino will give you the typical support buff in dungeons that people love if you get teamed up with another Priest C3 / Chaplain. Zalciai will give you + Crit atk which is nice for DEX builds and buff your zombies when the train goes through it, which is also nice. You can also either get Zaibas or Aukuras for your remaining points. Zaibas will help you level faster during krivis 1 and Bokor 1 but it’ll already be pretty weak with a non-INT build by the time you reach bokor 2. Aukuras can almost negate the zombie hp-loss over time which would be awesome if aukuras didn’t stand still in the ground. Remember that with a Bwa K build, your biggest friend is mobility.
Nice feedback~ Bokor2/Monk seems interesting but it wasn’t recommended due to the INT vs STR focus so it’s nice to hear from someone who took the dive
I’d like to add that, when soloing, killing bosses was painfully slow, but not really hard. With a dex build you will dodge most of boss attacks and the hits that do manage to get through will just be forgotten with the crazy amount of heal tiles that you can lay on the floor.
