Does semi afk farming can get you banned?

So basically if i use kneeling shot with an archer at a place where monsters respawn and just leave my attack key pressed while i watch a movie, and check once in a while if im still alive, could i get banned?

No i dont think that would be bannable because you are still somewhat playing the game. This is just going off knowledge from other MMOs. Now dont quote me on this but i believe that botting is the executing of scripts to play the game for you. You are still manually inputting commands even if you have your shoe holding down keys on the keyboard.

While its kind of shitty at the same time you really cant get banned because they would have to ultimately prove that you were botting and not being autistic and standing in the same spot shooting an arrow over and over while you are ERPing to some girl wearing a tiger mask.

yeah i mean it is kinda anoying if someone is farming or if im stealing the mobs, but i was thinking if im in a not so crowded map even if its kinda low lvl, semi afk farming could give some silver while i do other stuff, of course checking if im not kill stealing or bothering other players, maybe maps without story line quest or stuff like that.

It’s been a question since CBT. IMC has basically said “gray area.”

Again I believe that someone would have to have extremely solid proof that you are botting and even then you arent really botting due to holding down one button while you talk about ninja turtles to your anime club.

Botting is practically the use of external/3rd party scripts that play the game for you in a way that gives you any advantage at all.

Misconception is that if you’re farming, then you’re botting. It isn’t. AFK farming isn’t illegal unless IMC says so.

Botting is using a third party program to assist you. If you aren’t using a 3rd party software, then it’s technically legal to afk farm with z button held down.

You forgot “While licking the windows of an old bus clean”

You’d just have to live with the risk of passer-byers potentially flagging you as a bot.
