Does Paladin's Smite scale with STR or is it fixed dmg?

^title

I’m considering to play a full support paladin. For my understanding smite paladins generally build offensively (so str instead of int) my question now is whether smite is useless/lackluster when you have no str or if it deals fixed damage regardless of one’s stats. Is turn undead really a better choice than smite for an int, spr, con/vit build?

it’s your physical attack+skill damage -enemy defence. so strength adds a little.

Thanks that’s what I wanted to know because I couldn’t find a source for it.

But does str really make that big of a difference? At level 15 smite deals 5082 base damage and if the scaling is 1to1 then 100-150 str won’t make any noticable difference?

So is it still good to go for Smite (instead of something else like Turn undead) even if you play a full support character (no str)?

that’s about as much attack as a weapon has: skills are strong that’s why you use them. strength also gives you crit damage, so if you can get crit with gems and such you’ll do a lot more damage. you can probably build con or spr if you want, or even int for previous jobs skills.

Where are you seeing Smite doing 5082 base? TOSBase has it at 1091.

Also, every bit counts. Say you have 165 STR altogether with bonuses, that’s 165 extra damage. Fully enhanced Smite, that’s 330 damage. Enemy weak to strike? 495 damage. Flying? 740 damage. That’s a decent chunk.

Took it from the ToS Wiki here. http://toswiki.treeofsaviorgame.com/skill/smite

but I also saw your numbers that are more realistic in an other wiki entry.

So my question still is. Is it even worth it to skill smite if one goes for no STR at all? I going into Turn Undead instead doesn’t seem that great and is useless in pvp.
