Does level difference matter?

Simple question really;

Example: I’m level 150 and my friend is level 90 and i want to help my friend.

If a lvl 150 joined to help a lvl 90 in a party, will the lvl 90 char recieve less experience? In my mmo experiences having a high level in your party is bad for leveling.

Thanks in advance :3

About party member level range:
There is no penalty at first range of share (0~20)
The next Range (21~25) has a 50% penalty to experience.
The next Range (26~30) has another 50% penalty to experience (25% total)
The next Range (31~??) has another 50% penalty to experience (12.5% total) I assume there should be another range here that suffers another 50% penalty to experience (6.25% total) Because my last test has another level range (??~73~??) suffers another 50% penalty to experience (3.125% Total)
I don’t know if it gets further decreased.

Some test a guy did a while back. You should stay within 20 levels of your party members for full exp.

Since you’re 60 levels difference, the exp penalty will be extremely harsh.

Thanks for the help! :3

Just to add to my question, being lvl 150 i’m not going to receive any xp from lvl 90 areas (Thats to be expected), i just don’t want to nerf my party

Another thing to add; i’m not actually lvl 150, i just used that as an example. I’m a bit of a power leveler and my friends are kinda slow… I just want to be aware of how far ahead i can get before it becomes an issue.

Hmmmmm, so what about sharing exp BY LEVEL in the Party Options?
Like, using the same example, I’m at level 150, and my friends lvl.90, won’t they recieve the “correct” exp this way (And won’t I recieve less/nothing at atll)?
