Does IMC still care for what's left of the population?

One of the top played f2p games on Steam, and the top played MMO.

I hate to break it down to you guys, but IMC does not care about their player base. I have a ticket that hasnt seen an answer since the 16th of july. There is no support. Bots and gold sellers make for at least 1/4 of the current gameā€™s player base. There are so many bugs in this game its hard to imagine it ever being fixed. I understand everyone is excited for rank 8 but can you imagine what thats going to do to the overall balance of the game? It is only going to get a lot worse. IMC has decreased the servers capacity with the channel reduction and the instanced dungeons serverā€™s as well.

When I started there were 20 of us, we all stopped playing now. My friends will never come back. The only way for this game to have any chance of succeeding is if they fix the whole thing and rebrand it. I cant see time doing any good to this game. As time goes by more and better games will be released which will take even more players away. In the end this game will only have the die hard fan base which probably amount to 2-3k daily.

Even this website is ā– ā– ā– ā– . Doesnt properly work on mobile phones. What year is this 1999?

I am staying very far from anything the has been touched by IMC.

Steam is still the biggest digital distributor of games in the West, I would say for games that are on Steam even if they have their own launcher the majority of players play through Steam unless itā€™s a particularly old game.

As a SEA player, the only companies that can handle mmos are Cherry Credits (DN) and Asiasoft. Kinda worried if SEA monopolized iToS.

The only thing that SEA player rages are the pings. We donā€™t bother about class reset, costume, etc because we are stingy af xD

its because you are stingy enough not to get a VPN for low ping, its cheap af, I am SEA but spent on VPN just to improve my game performance because I like the game. so not all SEA is as stingy as you. Even if the game has so many issues, I still buy in game cosmetic items to enjoy the game more or even to support the game if I may say

So far over the months here, imho Iā€™ve seen more QQ threads from NA/EU/SA players. Perhaps they are just more vocal than us, which is why more threads are started by them. Or perhaps SEA players are just too shy to put up their server names and IDs.

Most of the SEA players I know told me about their concept of ā€˜efficiencyā€™. Unless it is a game changing bug or some server wide problem then they will spend time typing in forums. Otherwise the time is better spent playing, leveling and enjoying the experience in the game. The countless hours and days spent debating about class resets can be used to level an alt.

How do you determine that. Rarely anyone actually puts their char name and server in postsā€¦ How do you know who is from what server?

@haukinyau

Not really. So far only SG and MY have good ping. Philippines and Vietnam seems to have connection issues. My guildmates from hailing from these 2 countries use VPN to connect over to the servers to have better stability.

Quite a number of them will announce their servers in their rage threads, like.

  • QQā€¦ waited 40mins for DG matchmaking in Fedimian
  • QQā€¦ SA guild war rages (Game of Thrones ToS version)

Hmm nvm, Iā€™ll edit my statement before others QQ about me for spreading false information >.>

I was just honestly curious how you determine that. Or if you are keeping a running count or somethingā€¦

Didnā€™t really keep a running count. It is more of feeling I get after postingā€¦ err. participating in many of the heated discussions over here. As we talk more we get to know our folks here and where they hail from.

@haukinyau

No worries :3
I too didnā€™t know until my guild mates start discussing which VPN route to use then I realised that close proximity to server doesnt mean the routing is shorter.

Yep RO is successful in that regards as it establish a footing in SEA region first. The rest of the world had a chance to really look at how the game is actually like for a couple of years before playing it. They have the expectation that the game is going to be grindfest + there are established guides online for them to read, examine and follow.

ToS on the other hand, is rushed to the international market. Not that it is a bad thing, but for the international crowd who would much prefer more information online, it is lacking. This creates lots of problems like players donā€™t like their builds due to this lack of information.

Iā€™m certain that if iToS is released 1 year after another beta, there will be a lot less QQ here and more praise. Primarily due to more information about the classes being explored, translated by the hardworking community.
