Does IMC only ban bots or also the accounts they send items to?

Do they track the bot’s transaction and ban the account involved as well?
Because otherwise it’s just useless.

Multiple ToS bots online you can pay for under $20 just google it. They dont ban unless you use an exploit like the opening shop/repair anywhere. Like always, botting has a possibly of being banned but in this game it is highly unlikely with changing channel player detection. Devs dont care their is no GMs. You run into a lot of casual player bots as well as RMT chinese bots and they mostly only ban RMT bots not people with regular names that bot.

their old method was trading duped talt to buyers and they sell it to npc it for silver, idk how they do it now… all i know is the marketplace restrictions IMC put in place is not preventing any of it

I’m certain they don’t ban the buyers because they don’t have any way of detecting it, thats why their making changes to the marketplace so that people can report that sort of activity, but its already known that they don’t even use the marketplace method, IMC is just causing more inconvienence to the players

They could track the bot’s transaction if they wanted to, RO used to ban the accounts that received money/items from bots too.

My point is, I hope they do, otherwise it’s useless to just ban the free botting accounts.

With the servers opening again soon, it dreads me to think how many more bots will flood in. :worried:

Best way to stop RMT is to make people so frustrated with all of the restrictions and limitations that they quit completely. With no players, there’s no RMT. Problem solved.

My idea is better. IMC could sell silver using RMT. So there is no point buying from the others. But, besides it, will depreciate the silver value, since it will be much more accessible
