Does grouping get better?

Hello, new player here. Me and my wife got to roughly level 40 and we were wondering, does grouping get more useful? As of right now one or the other of us just one shot kills whole groups and the other one just wastes a skill/item as all the monsters are already dead.

Before we continue or leave we wanted to see: is grouping useful later on? Or will one or the other of us just be insta-killing the groups while the other one does not get a hit off?

Most of the content that requires partying up are at endgame.

Ok, but can teaming before that be owrthwhile? Or will it be roughly the same as it is now?

And if we both just instantly kill groups, then what is the experience share range? could we setup a ways away from each other and just farm exp and loot? Or do we need to be on the same screen to get the shares?

It’ll probably be about the same as it is now. For field maps, the share range does extend pretty far; about a few screen’s worth at the very least. In Level Dungeons, which you’ll get to as soon as you reach Lv 50, both of you can split up to clear the dungeon faster and you’ll both receive the same amount of EXP.

There’s no exp level range, you take all exp of mobs up to around 1.5-2 screens of distance.
Level Dungeons award exp at the end based on clear % so you can split up and do them as Kiyoshiro said.
Quests are the fastest way to level up to cap, 3-4 levels on tos are 1 level on other games.

Early game is kinda ret@rded, just one shot everything until lvl 420, then suffer and die to a single mob, prey for RNG Goddess to craft your set, to finally reach end game, which is buy costumes and chat in Klaipeda.
