Just curious as to if the Dethrone debuff for movement speed will work on players in PVP as well or is it specifically for boss monsters only???

yes its a stage3 root that goes through bloodletting
Afaik, the slow effect is only for boss while the bind effect is only for players/normal monsters. Mostlikey, the slow effect you see in some videos is from restrain proc which triggers slow debuff.
