Because I’m planning to max fire wall and have a friend use circling at a boss, so it (hipothetically) can do full hits. Would this work?
Circling? circling does work, it lowers the boss AoE def, and it can activate its effect from the attribute at circle 3.
Sure you don’t mean aiming? cause that one also works, aiming is the one to enlarge hitboxes

No it is circling, because fire wall max hits gets divided by the mob AOE def, 4 in this case since it is a boss. But still I wonder if it would really work…
I see, got to try I guess, aiming benefits fireballs aswell, since it makes the hitbox huge, and aslong they’re within that purple circle, they’ll do damage.

Does anyone know how my own attack ratio would interact with firewall? I mean if I use five hammer and vubbe fighter gloves if it would do any difference.
Fire wall has a hit limit, aoe attack ratio plays no role there. It’s basically how most cleric skills works as well, you’ll just do the amount of hits in the skill description. So the more targets the less hits each of them will take.
@yurichalps Let’s say a Firewall with 1 tile has 8 hits.
1 hit = 1 AoE Attack Ratio.
A boss with 4 AoE Defense Ratio will take 2 hits and the Firewall is gone.
You need more AoE Attack Ratio to do more hits for firewall. You can test it yourself against Small, Medium, Large mobs. Different size mobs, different AoE Defence Ratio consumes different amount of hits.
Do not compare Pyromancer with Clerics. It is different.
@0gustavovidal However to be honest, it is not worth investing so much to build around firewall. It is just not worth the hassle.

Your own aoe atk ratio does not grant you more hits for firewall. I’ve tested using five hammer, + glad band + light plate set a long time ago

Yeah I put firewall in my build and I think it’s very very useless, it may do some damage but the usability is pretty hard, at least for me…
Even tried to test it with a falconeer friend but we could not find a proper boss… We may try it with those training dummies later, but just for science since I pretty much hated the skill lol
Also I think I’ll put just fireball and hell breath for the debuff, since all my huge damage comes from the fireball combo, every other skill just seem too weak, I’ll focus in leveling my fireballs to 80 attribute.
Yes, circling works against bosses…My falconer’s multishot always hit both Poata and Glass mole during Siauliai.
