Do we need Healing Factor?

With heal10 and mass heal10, Should I sac points from Healing factor to put into other things I need? I’m only asking because I feel like heal10 and mass heal10 would be enough as it is.

I say yes!
Think of Wolverine or Deadpool when you think of healing factor… Like literally the healing regen is kinda stupid… Especially with hp regen on top of it

Videos speak louder than words.

^Not even sure if this is level 5 Healing factor^

omg it looks fun to do that, bitches can’t kill me XD

Oh I love it. It looks so nice.

Doesn’t restoration give more than healing factor?

No. Restoration and Healing Factor works way different.

How are they different?

from the numbers restoration gives 300+ at 15
and healing factor gives around 100 at 5

how do they function differently?
Just need some clarifications. don’t both of them function as additional hp regen?

Moreover how do they compare with other skills like aukuras?

Paladin’s HP restoration works on HP regen ticks (20 second per tick while standing, 10s while sitting). Healing Factor regenerates overtime without ticks.

People mostly takes Restoration for SP purpose.

For Aukuras, while it does give sweet regen speed buff, people with low con hardly benefits from it, and the HP regen per tick does not quite cut it in battle. Its still good to use it if you have no cleric in dungeon party and relies on bonfire for HP.

Also the accuracy debuff on Aukuras gives PD’s Incinerate longer duration since more debuff = longer duration for Incinerate.

what do you mean by regenerates overtime without ticks?

  • does it just give a total of 100 over the duration? what i mean to ask is what do you get from it per second? and
  • how about the sentence in healing factor about taking damage?
does taking damage factor into healing factor?

Sorry for the questions
just want to clarify the skill’s worth

  1. No, the regen lasts for the duration. The regen is more than 100hp btw, its not solid 100hp per “tick”.
  2. Healing Factor will regenerate to the point when you stepped on the magic circle. For example you casted Healing Factor and stepped on it at 80% HP. When you takes damage, the HP will regen back to 80% swiftly. If you’re over 80% HP, Healing Factor will stop working until your HP goes down below 80% again.

Some edit : I forgot that Paladin’s Restoration also adds flat amount of healing amount on healing spells or potion. The SP regen attribute also works on SP potion regen ticks.

Does healing factor only apply to one person ? It seems to be consumed as soon as he steps on it ?

Yes its one person. However Linker C2’s Spiritual Chain can make it to party buff because its shareable via it.

I am honestly wondering if preventing status alignments justifies Plague doctor.

Healing factor looks okay but with c2 cleric and c3 priest i have heals kinda covered, especially if i need a linker to make healing factor work.

Instead I could go C 2 druid and grab AOE invulnability for 10 secs every 30 secs and some aoe dps.

Or C 2 diev for owls, cd reduce and aoe silence.

On top of that, PD looks utterly boring.
Depends, it’s more PvP material than PvE.
Even dievs are situational, and C2 druid is more for damage.
Pick your poison.

PD doesnt look boring to me

such good support
op flamethrower
good outfit + mask
beneficial flamethrower

the perfect class in my eyes

quick question, does restoration and healing factor stack? i mean if i have restoration buff and stepped onto a healing factor tile within my 80% hp. Does restoration’s hp recovery rate adds to the healing factor ? healing factor’s current hp recov rate is 100 (at lvl 5) and restoration is 168 (at lvl 5 also or maybe just get lvl 1) Do they even add? making healing factor recover more hp while restoration buff is up? thanks for the answer and btw this is how i explain, kinda confusing but please bear with it

I dont know, the soft steara lokks very appealing for all that nasty pve dmg, dont you think ?
Hmm? Meant that for pve, I meant pd would be more pvp than druid. Druid is more for damage than pd.

I dont quite see the relevance of healing factor since you need to stand on the space for it to work right?
