Does anyone know if it was stated that we would be getting kTOS buffs for iTOS? such as the barb buff, pyro etc… seems like a huge deal if we arent getting them considering barbs and rod etc are ■■■■ tier atm
We don’t know, but seeing as we already have a few different balance changes it is unlikely we will see the same changes.
ya I’d like them to mirror balance changes at least the current ones on ktos( this may not always be true ) but there are a lot of things I don’t want them to copy from ktos, p2w mounts is an example.
I dont really see the reason why we wouldnt get the patchs, well as everyone knows already swordsman classes blow late game may as well give them every little bit of help <.<

neglecting the classes is considered differences just not in the right direction imo, i still dont understand the highlander nerfs tbh, i guess the itos team thought that since the swordsman class was popular they better make them bad so people get more playtime rerolling a new char for et
Swordmans aren’t that good late game? 
Mabinogi NA takes about 6 months to 1 year for balance changes to propagate from KR.
iTOS is one month since the last skill change.
So… Yeah.
Guess they were basing it on ktos where archers are more popular?

Double swordman isn’t specifically bad but ideally (at least when I look at it) if the second swordsman isn’t a tank you want them to be a bruiser.
It’s logical that we’ill get the balance changes that worked well in kToS. We do share some but not all balance changes right now. Our linkers I believe are the most striking difference. Unless it’s changed over there our version of hangman’s knot is something like a 1/3rd the duration of kToS.
They’re melee classes and they struggle a lot because they’ve to keep dodging aoes and attacks, while for range classes they can keep doing really high dmg without much difficult, kinda sucks because melees should be able to be stronger than range since they’ve to be in front of the battle, but doesn’t seem to be the case for ToS, also if you don’t have at least Peltasta C1 people might not want you in parties because you can’t aggro mobs at all.
So far it doesn’t look like it, we have had nerfs that kTos hasn’t had (ranger). Looks like the balance in this version is going a different direction.
Yeah im still hoping we see some of the buffs tbh, barb scales horribly in the late game and giving cleave a utility is amazing that can help certain builds and on the other spectrum rod is even more useless lol without the kr buffs at least (i dont know how well they play with the most recent buffs) but i believe that plague doctor nerf was needed, as well as the pyro buff was nice to see as well… not getting any changes would be pretty agitating
