Do u need full support in grind parties?

i havent gotten past 130 in this game yet so I dont know how it is to have to grind levels. Ive just always been doing quests and dungeons. But as a cleric c3 and priest c3 and plague doc, will I get into grind parties easily? Its already really hard to solo as it takes forever to kill one mob, grinding solo would take forever so I need a party. The problem like I said is that my dps is low. Ill mostly only be able to heal and my damage is going to be insignificant. Will parties want me in a grind party over someone who can deal their share of damage?

I’ve played a support char in one other game, Silkroad Online. And just like this game, clerics did pretty much no damage. Their strength was that they were absolutely ESSENTIAL in grind parties. Without a cleric you simply couldn’t grind. I don’t know if thats the case in this game. :pensive:

I think you’ll be over your class as a support if you go c3 cleric and c3 priest. As for the topic, yes, you will be taken in grind parties. As a cleric>c3 priest>Monk, I’ve been healing well. But IMO, the c3 cleric bothers me but I’m not sure.

I know how you feel since in other MMOs theyre very particular in your build.

In grind parties the most important thing they want is heal, since pot will not be enough.

Now there are 2 types of people:

Some will prefer a FS for buffs to help them kill faster.

Some will prefer a cleric who can heal and deal damage to help them kill more stuff.

Trust me, they are really usefull when you grind, even more when the maps is filled of anoying range / mage mobs. Its in the sense of not beeing every 2 min in rest mode with bonefire.

Generally they make the grinding far smoother and pleasant so they will always be welcomed.

At lower levels where monsters are weak, perhaps there is not so much demand. Like at mid range levels - Demon Prison you’ll definitely want one, yet at Bee Farm where the mobs are laughable you probably might not need one but it nevertheless doesn’t hurt to have one, and people aren’t so calculative anyway.

But definitely at 200+ where mobs tend to be unforgiving then yes, it’s almost always prudent to have a cleric. I’m not saying its an absolutely must have, but it’s a ‘really-good-to-have’ and I don’t think anyone sensible will be like oh let’s reject this cleric just so we can squeeze in a bit more dps.

Thx alot guys. 20 charsssssss

you should strive to pick up chaplain really in order to be able to solo and contribute dps and utility.
