You claim restrictions are not stopping RMT, I claim they are stopping RMT?
I never mentioned anything about it being a good idea or not. I simply stated that I believe it works and why.

Is it still possible to do? Yes.
Are bans effective? As if bans were ever effective against VPN services.
So you basically avoided answering on the entire issue and argument, and choose to simply ignore the fact that this success is achieved by literally setting the game on fire.
They can revert the transaction you know.
Right now itās pretty much less players less bots vs more players more bots. I have no clue which side is better. However if you insist that the current situation is lighting the game on fire, then so is the other side.
Neither.
Ideally anti bot measures do not screw over the player base, by capping every feature the game has.
The devs are acting as if we would be still in the year 2000 and anti cheat softwares, capthas and what not didnt exist, forcing everyone to hard cap game features.
So to answer your question: Both sides are the result of a bad, ignorant, idiotic anti-bot ādoctrineā.
I am here to play.
Not to watch or carry a war on my back, between devs and gold sellers while the game burns down around them.
IMC is a game developer. They develop games. They do not develop anti-bot programs.
If IMC can afford to contract some kind of hackshield, Iām sure they would do it.
And therein lies our main problem. Hooray, we did it reddit!
ToS needs some kind of hack prevention.

IMC idea to control gold seller is bad idea.
gold seller donāt care, they can get gold easily, they just bot get silver and buy token, and sell the rest of the silver.
they can use Market too, even can list just 1 item, they can create multiple account and sell the silver.
the only bleeding is the player, they had to pay again even after paid for the game, and pay again and again.
on steam previously this game had very positive reviews on steam, and now they had mixed review, and mostly negative on itās way, if this continues, they will have very small player based and the game wont survive. server merge in 3 months. way to kill a good game.
Then you know why we canāt let the virtual economy become 2nd to the realworld economy.
