Do monster gem drop if player is too high level?

I know a 250 wiz who did nearly 50000 kill for a gem at lv 80 zone without a drop

I am close to 20000 kill in a low level zone (I am level 200+) and has no luck

Whenever i hear someone say they get a monster gem, they always seem to get it from luck while they are questing or grinding in that zone

I got 3 monster gem so far when i was around lv 150 in demon prison, leading me to think, maybe its bugged and only drops for people who can get exp at that zone

Also can i suggest making it so that we can claim a gem when we achieve something like 100000 kill?

I don’t think there’s a limit. I got a drop on a level 100 character in tenet church 1F.

I think the drop rates are just really, really low…

what the big deal with monster gem… I got 3 which is not for my class and I just use it to enhance my gems…

some gives a huge dps boost, or a utility boost

but yea, some is complete rubbish
