Does the effect work when you’re not using the weapon directly? For example, does Venom’s poison work with a mainhand AA and skills? Does Venier’s increases holy dmg work when using a dagger alone?
since arde dagger works with mainhand, yes it should (for the venier question)
for venom’s poison effect idk, i think you should attack with the venom itself for it to trigger
also, do skills retain property? so for example I’m a wizard, I equip a rod, will all my skills be “strike” property? or only my AA?
wizzard’s AA is always of [Magic] type (not sure about alternative attack with staff, probably [Strike] to be able to hit fireballs). Skills use their own types regardless of weapon equipped.
skills got their own property, element, etc
using a slash type weapon but using a strike type skill would make your skill strike type still.
for magic, it should be magic. when hitting some mobs you should be seeing things like Magic+50% etc
so that means that the atribute from letargy that at lvl 5 gives +100% damage to strike attacks is COMPLETELY USELESS for a wizard…? why does that thing even exist then (._.)?
I think I’ve only seen it proc once but I forgit if it was by using a skill. Can test dummies get affected by poison and such? I want to experiment on it
well it’s not lethargy at level 5, it’s the lethargy attribute at level 5.
there’s a reason why people either level them at lv 1 or not take them at all
party support: many such attributes are aimed for party play, not to empower wizard himself.
I think it is working on both Skills and AA because my friend PD told me ytd that ignition rod special % chance effect applies on both his auto-attacks and incinerate whenever that slim chance does happen to made a hit.
i’m not sure about dummies but I guess you could try the ones on lemprasa pond
re-read your venom description. it explicitly said poison proc only with dagger attack.
Yes, but im not sure if it is a dagger-only proc since I don’t know if skills are considered a combined attack of both weapons
