Hello guys, the title says it do I need pelt c3 and rodelero c2 to tank endgame content ? Also, will I have some damage to solo level with a build like this ?

Mm you don’t. All you really need is:
a) Pelt c1-c3, you got it. C3 is for dedicated tanks to have the best taunt+getting that butterfly
Rodel C2 is mainly for slithering if we’re talking about tank uses vs magic, you don’t really want it otherwise.
b) two sets of armor:
Plate/Cloth - for magic/physical
A Decent Shield - Aias/Sage Wall. Aias much more preferred. then hold guard all the way if you know mobs hurt or an attacking is incoming.
If you are going for MDEF to tank on magic mobs, make sure you stack a LOT for it to work, 2x Glass Bracelets, etc.
c) high con
for soloing, it’s quite a punishment for you, taunt and people around will probably ks you because you lack damage, etc.
you can read some tank guides posted in the section, mainly pelt3 > Squire route with high con, definitely helps.

All swordsman can tank but you need that taunt skill for effective mobing or threat generation so PELT1 MINIMUM!
Pelt c1-c3 for tanking as it has the only Aggro skill.
Rodelero isn’t a tank. It is an attack class that uses the Shield as a weapon (kinda like KIngdom hearts Goofy) and has a skill that evades magical attacks which tanks may value. The class itself has nothing to do with threat which is a tanks first concern and what enables them to do their job.

I met a Pelt3>Squire2 going Templar he told me that tanking Magic mob is really a hassle since all the circles in Pelt doesn’t much provide protection against magical damage. He wished he went pelt2 rod2 squire 1 templar instead.
