Do full support just get carried in grind parties?

Youre full support what were you expecting honestly?
You can help things go faster by using heals and cure on the mobs and meelee atks. Yes it doesnt do anything extraordinary, but will it help? Yes it will.

This is why you are kicked.

You can either go around and lure mob, or just auto attack. A cleric attack do at least 600 damage with just cafrisun set, or 1000+ with arde dagger. That is in no way weak or useless

You can also turn your heal into damage.

The point is make yourself useful, don’t just expect it to happen like given.

I don’t think that’s the point. With the current spawn rate, 2 Wiz 3 Ele 2 is enough to clear the room for every respawn unless there are other room not filled by parties.

I do feel that others existence is not necessary but we invite them anyway because the exp difference is not big, and having more members ensure less exp sharing with non party members.

Are you saying you want Guildwars 2 where everyone is a 1 man party? lololol

You are Full Healer, not Full Support. You can turn your heals into damage.
In Beta, it is known that there is no pure support, as there are heavy cooldowns, and Wizards may even be a better support. It is best to have a mix of damage and support skills.

I can read pretty well… and ALL classes on GW2 have heals. They all even have buffs. Anyone can be support/tank/dps at the same time.

Have you played GW2? I’m not sure you understand my exaggeration but pretty much, everyone with heal = GW2 lol.

Full support cleric/priest? you can do auto attack.
some if not most cleric/priest skills scale with SPR.

ah well 250+ grind spots are in heal demand if you wanna grind effectively - and you need just 1 real dps in said maps anyways if your setup is quite good - all others are just for pulling stuff or dealing mediocre damage wich isn really needed…ele 3 does all the job

i am cry 3 / psy 3 where is that a min/max korean copycat when i decided to go that path 10 months ago during theory crafting with friends? as if its my fault that i have an ele 3 in party xD and it doesn need koreans in order to decide for an ele 3 / wiz 3 thats called common sense if people wanna deal heavy aoe dps and love the wizard class

Wrong. Please do not spread misinformation. The ONLY class that benefits from SPR is priest and it only benefits a few buffs which also scale well with INT (exception is stoneskin, which is the only buff that benefits well with spr).

What can you say about deprotect zone scaling with SPR then? :slight_smile:

Aspersion, Monstrance, Mass Heal, Stone Skin, they all scale with SPR…

You think every Cleric Build auto attack for 600?
A full Int cleric C2->Krivis C3 with 0 Str. attack for maybe 250-300.
Arde Dagger adds 153 fire damage and not 400.

A full INT krivis drop a Zaibas (one of the strongest skills in the game btw) that can hit 800-1000 damage easily 9 times, and you complain about auto attack?

  1. cafrisun set adds additional 12 earth property damage
  2. sacrament adds additional 40 holy property damage + 40 holy property
  3. last rite adds another additional 40 holy property damage + 40 holy property
  4. asper (chaplain skill dont know the full name) gives (lets say 200) additional aoe damage
  5. get enchant fire buff that gives 15 additional fire property damage + 15 fire property
  6. your normal hit

total of 6 hits

add blessing that gives 170 damage
with normal atk giving lets say 200

  1. 182
  2. 210
  3. 210
  4. 370
  5. 185
  6. 465

add arde dagger (153)

  1. 335
  2. 363
  3. 363
  4. 523
  5. 338
  6. 618

total of 2540 (2188 without enchant fire) damage per hit.

adding lets say 3 hats that contains 30 elemental property
your total damage increase by 540 (add 90 on each hits since it is 30 property each hats)

it becomes 2728 (2638 without enchant fire)

that is if you went cleric - priest c3 - chaplain

if not then you deal a total of 3 hits only

Yeah and then he have 30sec CD.
Heal 25sec CD.
You say every cleric can attack for 600.
Sure but not perma like Priest/Chaplain.

I have never felt so useful when I rolled a healer in iCBT2. Especially in dungeons and when you do play Support properly.
