Displayed Information in Marketplace

Just a little suggestion for the marketplace.

When looking at the three different menus, “Items for Sale”, “Sell”, “Item Cabinet/Receive” the number of different information is different for each menu.

“Item for Sale” is well listed with all the different columns listing all the different types of important information.

“Sell” shows [Name], [Total Price], [Cancel], and an option of [Hide Seller’s Name] when placing an item into the market.

“Item Cabinet/Receive” shows [Name], [Number], and [Receive]. Lacks a lot of information.

I think we should have a few extra columns of information in the “Sell” and “Item Cabinet/Receive”.
For instance in the “Sell” menu
[Name]: Name of item for sale (currently implemented)
[Total Price]: Shows the quantity x individual price = total price. Nice touch here. (currently implemented)
[Private Listing]: Displaying Yes/No to show if the item you listed is with the seller name hidden. There is currently no way to tell if you listed the item as private or not once it appears in the list, unless you search it up in the market.
[Cancel]: Cancel listing button (currently implemented)

and the “Item Cabinet/Receive” menu, where I think could use the most work
[Name]: For an item sold, rather than displaying you are receiving silver, I think listing the name of the item sold is better. There is currently no way to tell which item the silver received corresponds to. This would be helpful specially in the beta to determine if the items listed for sale were actually sold, eaten by the market, or was sold at a lower price from a bug exploit (who knows if such a thing is actually happening?)
[Total]: Instead of [Number], showing you the amount of silver received for items sold. For multiple items it can be quantity x individual price after market fees = total. For items cancelled from listing, it could show the same thing or quantity x 0 = 0.
[Status]: Displaying Sold/Cancelled depending on the reason for it being in the item cabinet or receive menu.
[Receive]: Receive item/payment button (currently implemented)

In reality, having in both Sell & Receive columns explicitly depicting the Listed Total and the Actual Total would be even better and clearer. In which case for an item that was cancelled we can still see the total listed price, but the actual total would be 0, causing less confusion.

What do you guys think? Feel free to improve on the model since I’m sure a lot of you use the market more than me and feel the frustration at the complete lack of information/explanation.

I wish developers got a little bit of common sense and implemented armor sorting by TYPE (any, cloth, leather, plate), and then by equipment slot it goes to.
It is not the 1st game that does that and i wonder why… it is extremely inconvenient.

Im not getting my hopes up for OBT. Gonna wait till release in hope they will make drastic improvements. Gonna have to move to ELOA instead.

Oh that is true. Being able to sort armor type would be extremely useful given the Cloth/Leather/Plate and maybe another for Others since I think there’s a few special armors that do not fall into either of the three categories.

The CBT is sort of ending soon but if they can implement it later on it isn’t all lost. As for OBT as you mentioned, I sure hope something can be done before or during any form of beta. The current marketplace is, if compared to a real business, sketchy as heck.

Having more information displayed is great for raising flags regarding marketplace bugs and exploits. A game whose ingame currency market is unsafe is kind of sign a real currency payment system may be unsafe as well.
