Hello, I was doing a dungeon and I miss clicked the quest teleport button (the one that teleports you to the npc after you completed it) and for one second I thought it wouldn’t teleport me for being inside a dungeon. However I did get teleported back to the NPC after all
I’m suggesting here to disable such teleport when inside the dungeon. I know I could have avoided it by not checking the quest in the quest window, but in my opinion it makes sense to not be able to quest teleport inside dungeons.
Just my suggetion
Usually people use them to warp out fast so that they don’t have to wait 60 sec. after the last boss is killed. Personally, I think it’s a good idea so that people get a chance to chat after a dungeon run… welp I hate when people just leave, feels less like an MMO
.
I dont know why the others do it, but I use character select after getting the cube for a simple reason. It makes the loadingscreen come instantly.
In queue runs, this ensures I can queue for the next run as soon as possible, hopefully ahead of those who wait the 60 sec. Some talk is nice in a way, but I clearly say no to it if I suffer a competition disadvantage cause of it.
And in rush runs, this prevents two consecutive loadingscreens if there are no lineup changes between runs. Worst case that happened before I started doing it was, that after both loadingscreens, the 90 boss was already down.
I know it is not the same thing the OP mentioned, but same principle. And reading this, I feel dumb for having completed certain quests, such as the one from a soldier near the 90 entrance. The quest teleport itself can be abused somehow to bypass warping costs in many places, simply by not completing the quests.
The problem with quest teleport is if you only have one completed quest, you don’t get a dialog window asking if you really want to teleport, making miss-clicking a real problem.
But it takes like 2-3 seconds of the floating animation + sound before you actually warp, and you can cancel it by just moving.
But that’s still very risk considering the low fps and slow response time during dungeons, for something you can only enter 2/3 times a day.
If you where in a party you can just re enter the dungeon whitout loosing 1 run.
If you solo it, just disable your quest tp thing. (That is the solution and it easy to do)
Honestly it take the same amount of time that would need to corfirm it and confirm each time would be kind of a pain when you got Tp after Tp…
Never happen to accidently tp (except with warpstone and when i was messing with it).
lol happened to me a while ago. just uncheck the quest in the quest window.
I tried to re-enter, but the npc didn’t let me in.
it works too, as long as you don’t press backspace accidentally too. My point is, I think it’s a game’s flaw letting you teleport without confirmation during dungeons and not let you re-enter after that. Considering the limited access per day.
