hey guys i was thinking about making a sadhu, high speed, and was considering using the dievdirby class to get the secondary weapon and increase speed. is this possible? What you guys think?
As far as I’m concerned Dievs have no secondary weapon or attack speed boosts. I actually can’t think right now of a cleric class that has these two qualities.
oh darn. i thought i had seen someone saying that diev had a carving knife as a secondary weapon, but im not sure
You’re thinking of the skill animation for Carve, where in the animation, the Dievdirbys uses your weapon and a dagger to attack the enemies.
All classes can equip Daggers in their off-hand, so there’s no need to take Dievdirbys solely for it.
On the other hand, if you’re focusing on Sadhu as a main class, it doesn’t really focus on using weapons for attacking, it mainly focuses on the stats the weapon gives. Out of Body is your main source of damage, and that scales with your M.Atk. I don’t think attack speed boosts affect the spirit body’s attack speed either, but I could be wrong.
You should focus on getting classes which are good for INT Clerics, like Krivis. Zalciai is a very important skill for Sadhu’s spirit body to deal high amounts of damage with it’s Magic Amplification attribute, and Zaibas is one of the strongest skills an INT Cleric can have. Remember that whilst your spirit body is out, you can still cast skills from your real body.
oh i thought out of body scaled with str. thanxs for the heads up bro u helped me alot, im thinking about getting oracle too. what u think?
It’s dependent on what sort of role you’d like to play.
If you’re looking to be a damage dealing class with Sadhu, go for Druid. Chortasmata and Carnivory are two good skills to help deal damage, and are pretty strong. If you would like to have some support options, Oracle’s not a bad choice with its party skills.
For a sadhu I would recommend Krivis and Cleric 2 or 3. A higher level safety wall is very needed and a Krivis skill that raise MATK (forgot name) plays nicely with OOB.

[/quote]Just a note that it’s Zalciai special interaction as a skill, not the attribute, that makes Sadhu stronger. The damage buff works even with the attribute off and the damage increase is way more than the 48 magic amp. it gives.
Diev is not that bad for Sadhu, tho! They have Laima Statue, which with its attribute works as an aggro machine for you (your Out of the Body state is canceled if you get attacked!).
Interesting, I didn’t know it had a special interaction with Zalciai. I always assumed it was that attribute since it’s the only magic boosting part of the skill.
And yeah, Dievdirbys isn’t a bad choice for Sadhu with Laima Statue to draw aggro, I didn’t think of that. It’ll take some time to carve it though and won’t last for too long, but it’s useful to stay unharmed whilst in OOB.
Well, it lasts 50 seconds at level 5, with 52 seconds cooldown.
I was surprised by Zalciai damage bonus too, I thought it was just the 48 damage from amp… but going Krivis is a must if you want to go Sadhu since he is pretty weak after the nerf…
Personaly I don’t like this. These secret combos should be good and interesting, but not mandatory.
Some interesting food for thought is that you should be able to carve statues while in Out of Body.
The one issue with this is that it carves the statue right next to your body causing aggro to come close to your body. The attacks some enemies can do are minor AoEs which can also hit you, causing OOB to be cancelled.
Carving statues whilst in OOB is an invitation to monsters to attack the statue, and in turn hit the body. Though, nothing stops you from moving after carving and setting up elsewhere.
what u guys think about the weapons, which kind is better? and about oracle
hey man do you think that getting krivis 3 worth for getting a stronger zaclai to use with oob?
I am almost sure Zalciai’s level doesn’t matter to increase Sadhu’s damage, because it’s the same as other interactions of this type.
So, your answer is no.
That is the assumption of skills won’t be adjusted.
I am not surprised the game will design to benefits C3 more at end game in the future. Everything at the moment seems to be enough with C2 (eg. Mass Heal, Monstrance, Heal, and etc.), but I think they may make it scale less, and require C3 at higher level, where you can always take C3 at much later Rank though (assume there are 12 Ranks, and Rank 11 or 12 can make up for these).
