I don’t play the game as much nowadays and when I checked my inventory today, I noticed the 2 timed Silver Anvils turned into “Light Anvils”. These anvils that are very…very useless and can only be used on naked items.

Do you mean gold anvil that can be use on 0 potential item whitout breaking them ? If yes then you can get those from any mob with a REALLY low chance .
Silver anvil got a lifetime of 14 days, maybe you just did’nt use them before the time limite ?
Naked item = unenchanted and no it’s not a gold anvil.
It has not been two weeks since I’ve had these silver anvils.
I do NOT remember getting these but I do remember having silver anvils. Either I got these from uphill defense or IMC changed them.
They come from uphill.
I’d like Light Anvils if they at least free-enhanced up to +5/+3 for weapon/armor.

Well with the anvil exploit still around they were basically making exploiters have no downside to upgrading. So maybe that’s why.
