Did I screw my leveling curve completely?

I was pretty deep into the quest grind yesterday and reached level 61 by doing the maps up (including) until “Release Goddess Saule” and then switched to Orsha (Until you get out of the Jungle). I totally forgot to grind the level 50 Dungeon and feel like I missed out on a lot of experience because of it, using EXP-cards when I should have gotten the Dungeon experience. I’m currently level 61/8 and I wonder how hard I screwed my leveling curve (basically will I have to grind for hours to catch up?).

Would like to get some input on the matter, considering re-rolling the character if the Dungeon is essential to smooth leveling.

I don’t know what you are worrying about, did you used all your EXP cards? If not, there is not really a need for panic, about the dungeon Lv 50, you can pretty much do it normally, just say you are level 60 and you will get a group closer to your level, i don’t remember the level limit now, i think it is 15 or could be 10 levels difference, someone might pass here and confirm that.

About the dungeon, i am not sure if the party search is working as it should, that would give you a nice boost in xp (i think it is 600%), but pre-made parties also get that, i think there is a setup of classes for that tho.

Just so you know, i am playing my Cleric since the start and never done a dungeon with it, except soloing the dung 90 when i was level 140 for the sake of getting an arde dagger.

I did use all of the experience cards.

I think the exp limitation is lvl 75, I cant remmeber the thread but someone mentioned he stopped getting exp after hitting 75 in there.

yeah, Im pretty sure that the gap level diff between you and mob/monsters to get some exp is 25 levels.

So I’m not screwed? I can still level smoothly?

Don’t worry. 50 dungeon is a nice boost but you can cope without it

There is still hope in there, you may have to do some light grinding but depending on your build you may find fast parties for that, save your cards from now on, only use them to keep your level 10 levels difference of the map you are questing (that is the min level to be able to trigger quests on the maps).

Thanks! I started thinking about it (realizing I used EXP-cards) and since monsters gives less EXP if you are above their levels I feared that I might simply have wasted to much resources forcing me to slowly grind later (before 120)

I have only used EXP 3 cards, but thanks I will continue to do this. My question then becomes, how exactly do I level if I don’t consume the cards (classic mobgrinding?)

level 50 dungeon is worth about 500k exp, and decreases overtime because of level difference but there’s enough exp from quests without killing anything to reach level 90 before you even touch level 5 cards.

dont worry about it, you cant really screw up the lvling curve until 130+

Between alternating Klaipedia, Orsha, and the settlement areas, my friend and I have gotten to level 108 on almost purely EXP cards alone. We’d grind during curve resets, but otherwise our leveling has been keeping up with the pace the game seems to intend for players (matching levels with each new map we visit, basically).

My friend skipped two dungeons and she’s semi caught up to me. You’ll be fine yes. Even if it does cause a bit of a gap, things’ll even out as the numbers get higher anyways.

As a future help, when you reach level 86, stop using cards, and gather some level 4 and level 5, i’ve got from 86 - 101 from just dungeoning/doing quest in maps of my recommended level  and i still hold 101 Lvl 4 exp cards and 113 lvl 5 exp cards

If you want to, do both orsha and kapledia similar levels quests to get tons and tons of exp cards ^^

The dungeon is still good xp all the way to 70. Stop using cards until you are 70+.

You will level during your questing progress, as i said, you try to keep your level in the 10 level range, since as you do the quests, the maps will be different levels.

So you will keep a bunch of cards and level at the same time.
One thing i generally do is, for example:

  1. I have a mix of level 3 and level 4 cards, when i start to get solid level 5 cards, be it on any map i am doing quests, i burn my level 3 cards and keep the level 4 and 5, if you are under leveled on the map you are questing, always use the low level cards, keep the others for later.

You level during progress? Quests give experience besides the card? Or from killing monsters and such while doing the quests. Sorry a bit dum :stuck_out_tongue:

You get exp from killing and quest bosses give some good exp also, aside from using the cards when you need to get your level close to the 10 level limit for triggering quests.

this will slow you down a bit, but in the long run, not really.
depending on how efficient you are with your remaining cards (that is, the ones you will get later)… how effective you are with parties/questing/other dungeons… doing/not doing both sides… you can -delay- the point at which you have to start grinding, but the grinding will be there no matter what.

like @Nirimetus said; the majority of your exp will come from the mobs you hunt (or just get in your way) from questing. you’re not hurting yourself if you allow yourself to get a little distracted and hunt more than necessary, or if you put questing aside to finish some collections or something.

look up the exp table online somewhere, and take note of the spots where it drops down. these are the places where it might be good to burn a chunk of exp cards, to give yourself a quick burst of new levels. again, always have a supply on hand to burn if you need to boost up to get in range after moving to a new map.
