I wanted to be dps barb 2h, but went highlander instead of swordman second circle.
Nah, you didn’t mess up unless somehow you really wanted something from Swordsman Circle 2. The popular opinion of people is that Circle 2 of Swordsman is primarily reserved for PVP. I’m not experienced enough to say if that’s really true, but what I can say is this:
Highlander Circle 1 has a class ability that grants +10% Critical Attack when using a Two-Handed Sword, and you can increase it up to Rank 5. This means Highlander Circle 1 is going to give you an exclusive boost to your Two-Handed Sword DPS that Swordsman won’t give you at any Circle.
On top of all this, Highlander Circle 1 will give you access to Cross Guard, which will help keep you in the fight longer when you’re using a Two-Handed Sword, and it gives you access to Cartar Stroke, which is a strong attack skill that should serve you well for a long time.
I’d recommend you stick with Highlander, it’s the superior choice for overall effectiveness when using Two-Handed Swords in my humble opinion.
