I went Cleric>C2 Priest>C2 Paladin and was planning to go to C3 Paladin.
But I’m having doubts now. Is this build viable at all towards the end of the game? Already invested a lot of time and I’m starting to regret it.
C1 Cleric > C3 Priest > C3 Paladin is decent, I would say, so I think you’ll be fine.
It was the build that I initially planned to go. However, as some people may point out, going C2 Priest isn’t that great since you lose out on a good half of Mass Heal and all of Stone Skin. Those are the only real losses, since adding more than five points into Revive is kind of pointless and nothing else really warrants five more points (I added them into Aspersion).
When you pick up Priest, you want to go the full length of it or just opt out of it. However, this game is all about skill and class customization, so don’t let it really get to you if you made a mistake in picking the “wrong” class. As another poster noted in a previous thread, many of our first characters will not be optimized since the game is still young and developing. Also consider the fact that several classes have not been released yet (from Rank 8 to 10).
So again, don’t freak out, you’ll be okay with how you’re going. Look at it this way: If you went Priest 3, then you wouldn’t be able to pick up a really strong Rank 7 class, like Plague Doctor. All up to you.
I’m pretty much going into the mindset now that I’ll probably just go Priest 3 to offer support and hope that rank 8 comes out I can go chaplain and just be a baller support.
I feel like going Plague Doctor would put me in a situation where I’d only be okay at a lot of things.

You need priest3 or cleric2 if you want to have a end game viable build period, and priest3 is not recommended for paladins in the slightest.
