Tree of Savior Forum

Did anyone else upgrade their PC in order to play?

tablets? you mean notebooks right?

No, but since I can’t find the source you’re free to dismiss this (as wrong/crazy/stupidity).

edit:

yeah I must’ve read it wrong. I think I found what I read before, here.

However they did say they ā€œmay developer Tree of Savior for mobileā€. So optimizations for Tablet would be necessary there.

your graphic card is better than a titan lol , titan is dogshit

I’m lucky owner of an system that i bought myself 2 years ago.
Still totaly blasting ^^.

I doubt i will have any worries on this game.
The higher problem will be, where the server will be located for the international one.
I doubt EU will get one xD … so let’s hope it’s east coast USA. My ping to West coast is about 50% worse.

Intel i7-4770 @3,4 ghz non clocked.
32gig ddr3 ram
Titan GPU

Runs everything on epic. Example EU LoL Server’S 20 ms.
Firefall US Servers: 120ms.

It’s not xD.
If you install it right and have the right drivers. It’s a striek of genius ^^.

Ahh and yeah.

If you#re low on ram. And see that it’s really used up by your games.
RAM is rather cheap to upgrade and easy to do.

Check how many ram slots you have.
And what ram type is in there.
Either fill up the remaining 2 slots with the same ram type.
Or replace everything for newer ram. But check with your mainboard if it’s even usable.

If you bottleneck yoru mainboard on that … you can have 1500mh ram, but if you can only use 822 from that.
Not good xD.

More RAM helps by a few things.
You can even allocated RAM to the GPU, increasing it’s power without messing with the overcloacking.

Well, my previous pc use to cost 600 dolars in the store, i bought it for 200 and i sold it for 400 just to buy a better one.

I want to play ToS so i don’t have to upgrade my PC.

That only works if your GPU allows RAM sharing. Like APU’s and some laptop GPU’s.

EDIT: @greenfoxy21 Sorry, you were right system memory can be shared with a dedicated GPU. But i’m not sure if this can be done on all dedicated GPU’s.

GPU clock, memory bandwidth (memory clock, memory type and memory width), cuda cores, etc… are the only things that trully improve performance. However:

Graphics card RAM will only negatively affect performance if there isn’t enough to handle what a specific game title requires. The point is that all other factors being equal, a graphics card with 2GB (2,048 MB) should perform exactly the same as a graphics card with 512MB as long as the game’s graphics memory requirements are below 512MB. If the game’s settings and resolution require more than 512MB of graphics card RAM, the 512MB card will demonstrate a performance penalty compared to the 2GB card.

If the max graphic requirements are like that.
Given experience, it’s always better to have a bit more.

tried to OC my CPU with AMD overdrive but that doesnt look so safe lol…

Dunno, i always use auto-oc included on the motherboard :grinning: (lazy)
