DEX Inquisitor - 315 Full Run

I see. So that’s the unreliable factor you are talking about which causes inquisitor to lose out to doppel overall.

So It does have potential but is RNG wise or “have mechanical cap” that needs it to trigger. So it does infact lose out to doppel half or most of the time. Assuming both side is cap.

So it’s seems pretty unstable hmm. As for C9 i will reserve my opinion until it release since (the future is unknown) shiet like swordies suddenly becoming the best sustain dps suddenly lel.

That’s pretty much it. It loses out because of RNG factor and mechanics - you need to trigger the Pears by having your target step on them/cast a skill. If the boss jumps away as you threw them down under him, gg. All that damage is lost.

Strange i always though out pears was only 1 per hit. 6 hits on level 5 (6 pears) 3x damage if on cast.

Now this is some new interaction. +1 insight sharing.

Not many people realise this and it’s why they underestimate it. You can see almost everyone thinks God Smash > Pear when it isn’t. Even with Conviction combo.

Or was it the 3x damage that trigger the extra hits? Now i am curious how the mechanics work.

Actually. Pear is a true multi hit. Any true multi hit will win > 1 burst damage.

So… those who think god smash investment is the best it isn’t . It prove to people via musketeer snipe and covering fire already lol.

If you figure out how to reliably make the Pears trigger more hits, please do come back and share with me also. I’ve tried everything with no success. I can repeatedly make it do multi-hits, but I can’t control how many hits.

I see a lot of people talking about damage cap. Just to inform you. No game leaves damage cap at such a low number (200k) people will find ways to do a lot of damage in ktos and to get mental masturbation they will force ktos to lift it to 999.999. So trust me, skills like pears will be insane in the future.

Yes it will be lifted or extended slowly.

Also R9 is a big ? factor as most R7 class will be overhaul or at least stay decent. Some R8 classes might turn potatoes to what happen to WL/Cannon C2 as well.

Most likely also they are alternating circles “focus” so we will what happen 6mths down then. Everything is unknown by then it’s hard to say whats, what future proof. only know for now the pre 5-6 classes we pick doesn’t matter that much at the end anyway.

Alot of games have damage cap not unlocked until pass 3-4 years into the game… (it’s hard to predict) esp with IMC and their potatoe style.

The only reason you top the damage charts is because of Wheel. It reflects damage off of it and that Doppel most likely critted it hard every time and that damage is counted as yours.

I also have a Inquisitor and in many Saalus runs with melee physical I can just drop a wheel and get rank 2 or 1 damage spot from the wheel alone.

I’ve been running it with a new party without Doppel. Just a Scout/Mergen and myself as DPS. It’s obvious a lot of the DPS comes from me because at times, even our full CON Rod3 gets rank 2 DPS.

You can doubt all you want but the evidence is there. If you don’t want to believe it that’s fine.

No it’s from the wheel, it literally reflects all the physical DPS people hit it with around. Every hit done to the wheel is counted as your damage. You essentially double melee DPS for 10 seconds and all that DPS is counted as yours WHILE you can also dish out your own damage ontop of that.

You will always come on top in the “damage charts” because of this if the boss dies within 10 seconds and during the wheel.

To be honest the entire damage thing is utterly retarded in this game anyway and a mistake to be put in. I understand it in world boss scenario, but not in dungeons.

You don’t know by how much you beat the 2nd place and 3rd place. You might’ve just done 1000 damage more than them but hey, you’re 1st.

But yes it’s just wheel. Don’t be thinking monk comes even remotely close to what that doppel is doing in your party, sorry.

Er, my most of my damage comes from Inquis Pears. I’m pretty tired of explaining this. Also. do you even know Wheel has a hit limit? It lasts for about half of 1 charge of cyclones duration.

No one ever said Monk is doing all the DPS. It provides little damage in short fights like this, it’s longer fights where it’s good.

Like I said, you can keep doubting all you want. I will continue getting my Rank1 DPS, even at 330 WBs.

Have you ever figured out how to trigger multihit on pears consistantly?

–I have been battling this for a while, sometimes my pears do 300-500k damage and sometimes they one shot 290 boss. can never figure out how to pull it off 100% of the time

Nope. Still haven’t figured it out.

I never been able to 1 shot 290 boss yet, though. Not solo anyway. At most I’ve brought it down to ~25% after blowing all my cooldowns.

I did once. 70% ttribute on lvl 6(devine might) pears, god finger flick debuff, and armor break from hand knife. (i am a monk3 build though - a little not optimal, but again I was not really aiming for inquisitor but for lama, which is sad story on itself)
