“You are leaving the battle. Deserters will be shot!” (Quote from Battlefield 1942 if you tried to escape to the farthest point of the battle).
But meh, who cares if people desert the game? It also happens all the time in games like e.g. Team Fortress or Battlefield 1942.
If you have no chance or don’t want to play that round, you’re free not to play.
Enforcing someone to play a game he can’t win due to IMC’s inability to balance the PVP setting up to date will only make many people miserable, thus making them either stop playing completely or stop PVPing.
Also, people should decide: either they blame people for leaving the game or they blame them for going afk. If they stay but don’t do anything I bet you’d be just as annoyed as if they leave. I think IMC should remove the TBL shop so that only people serious about competitive PVP join.
In Ancient Greece, the real Olympic games also were just for glory, as participation earned you nothing and the winner also just earned himself a laurel crown and the right to put up a statue of himself on the Akropolis(no money,it was 100% fame only).
That’s why it’s the fault of IMC who lures people who don’t really want to PVP with the points & prices to the frontier they’d never join if there were no material spoils.
In the end, if all you want are the TBL shop prices, you can’t blame others of just “participating” for the prices, too, since the game allows it the same way as it allows afk-farming with necros.
