"Denoptic" - The broken boss

If you make a decision to kill denoptic solo, without help (“i am true mega strong OP hero, i dont need any help”) then make 2 steps:

  1. take some HP potions (if you are not cleric class) or some patience (if you are cleric class)
  2. then look at the boss, remember bosses most OP skills and attack boss RIGHT AFTER HE HAS CASTED THEM. And thats all. Every boss will be easy. Just attack after most dangerous skills and not before them. After few seconds of attacking - run away and wait for new cast of OP skill.

1 time of 10 boss cast his OP skill two times one after another - for that situation you have some HP potions.

And if you are glass cannon with 0 dps and 0 money for potions (defective cannon =))) then look for party.

I’m sorry … But even with 4 to 9 FPS, and with cryo / linker (which mean 0 dps build, for a stupid alt) I did kill it without real problems …

Usually, only the green balls did hit me (coz fps), and just some of the free pot gived to new char was enough to kill it without dying …

A pet can help, sometimes, if he can take some aggro (when IA doesn’t make him just stand still, without doing anything), ah yeah, run away when the boss twist his body/tentacles, and wait the 2 cast. That’s usually the only things you really need to do.

Running arround him is enough for dodge all the others attacks.

And in the worst case, some pot …

I had a similar problem with this boss. I managed to beat him on the first go (just barely and after using all my healing pots) but the projectiles don’t seem to hit when they contact your character, they seem to hit as soon as the boss fires off the attack. I found If I jump right as he was casting the green ball thing, I could avoid it. If I jumped when the projectiles would have made contact with my character, it just hit me a moment later. For a butt ton of damage.

Seriously? you had a hard time? I could imagine the other classes, but if you were’t able to manage to IW/PP him, then you really would have a hard time. Took him down Fairly easily. Seriously, Demon Lord Zuaura gave me more trouble because he had ranged minions to assist him.
