As topic, as I am leveling a healer, I was curious how the demand is for them later in the game. Will it be easy to find groups as a healer?
There are quite a lot of healers and class combos that can heal but theyre always in demand because more players will always be dps than supports.
I would say full support will be in demand. Anything else is a poormans dps that lacks party survival. Is a FS fun to play? Probably, but hope you have a group or alot of beer to ease the soloing pain.
In grinding parties, C2 cleric with dps circles are more appreciated than FS since they contribute DPS and makes leveling faster.
That’s not even remotely accurate.
This topic has been covered in depth and there’s no reason for you to mislead others like that.
-
pve endgame ET is primarily a dps check, and due to how hard mobs hit it’s better to kite or kill mobs quickly. Full support can work, just not as good as a dps oriented cleric that helps kill mobs or distract them.
-
Rest of pve is even easier, aside of 3 star maps arguably. But again, full supports slow the grind down by a notch.
-
PvP is a entirely different matter, most cleric skills cannot reliably deal dmg there so full support fairs a lot better there. But there’s also still some dps oriented cleric builds that do quite well as well.
-
Nor do most dps builds lose out on support, Chaplain gets extended stone skin, diev gets aoe silence and invuln, bokor gets distractions + blind + invuln, sadhu gets bind.
- And dps wise dievdirby is incredibly strong, sadly most other cleric builds are not remotely as good dps wise.
There’s always demand for 1 capable healer in a party (cleric2 or priest3 recommended).
Aside of that you may be let in to fill up spots for easier content, but this will happen less and less at higher levels.
Plus you can que for random parties without worries as you won’t ever need more then 1 healer there.
