Deeds of Valor stacks

Question, friends!

When you recast a level 10 DoV which has 10 stacks on it, would it refresh the stacks along with the duration? or would the stacks go back to zero?

Is the attack speed buff fixed? do you have to get hit 10 times for the 100% attackspeed to proc? or do you get 100% attackspeed upon casting it?
