I’m planning on making a “TRUE PvP” Fencer with Rodelero C2 as the core. However, I have some trouble deciding the starting point. Also, what is the stat distribution? What skills do you take in Fencer for PvP? (Please give me an in-depth skill build, if possible) Give some feedback! (Preferably if you are experienced in these classes)
Stat distribution: 2DEX:1CON:1STR? or 1DEX:1CON:1STR? There’s so many different stat distributions, however I feel like the 1st one would make sense. Fencers rely mostly on evasion and having more of that will help a lot. The 2nd one is more of a balance between Block and Evasion, as we get alot of Block from taking the shield classes at the start.
Sword C1>Pelt C2>Rodelero C2>Fencer C2 : Quite a few people have suggested and made this build and I think it is used often in kTOS also. However, what is the use of taking C2 on Peltasta here? Pelt C2 gives you 2 new skills; High Guard and Shield Lob. There are also no beneficial attributes on C2 apart from making Shield Lob have more AoE. The only benefits from taking C2 here would be all PvE focused. If anyone have more experience on this class, please feedback to me what C2 would give you in a PvP scenario.
Sword C2>Pelt C1>Rodelero C2>Fencer C2 : Taking Sword C2 makes more sense, it gives everything you want for PvP; Restrain, more Pain Barrier & Concentrate. Getting Pelt C1 afterwards is for SB 25% max HP increase and C1 attributes, which are essential.
Sword C3>Rodelero C2>Fencer C2 : Not really an ideal build as there is no Peltasta, but a 40% chance stun from Restrain as a tradeoff? How good is it actually?
I am leaning in favor towards the 2nd one, but I need some advice before I actually go for it.
Please provide me some insight and feedback if you have played/tested with these classes. Thanks for taking your time to read this topic.
P.S. I know magic cannot be evaded by block or evasion. Don’t need to tell me that, just saying. Also I know that Slithering can evade magic attacks. And yes, I know that you don’t benefit from Fencer’s Aggression attribute if you equip a shield with a rapier. No, I do not want to go the Dragoon meta. At least not now.
