Sorry in advance for the long post
As of right now the Cleric supports are divided by Priests and Dievdirbys.
Priests are kinda like your basic Priest of MMORPG’s, buffs, heals and ress, also pretty player friendly since it doesn’t require much (other than timing and positioning to use buffs and heals correctly), the only con I could think about Priest is that they require items to cast their buffs (Aspersion, Sacrament and Blessing) so you’ve to manage your buffs correctly so you don’t waste a lot of silver.
Dievdirbys are more complex, they require even more timing to know when to use your stuff because you work around statues which give different bonuses, or they can also deal dmg/cc, however they’re stationary, meaning that you’ve to know when to use them and place them in the right direction (Carve Owl), also they can be bounced around by bosses which might be a little frustrating (alongside long cd’s), they also use woods to carve their statues, which you can buy.
Also for Full Support Build you pretty much need Cleric C2, it’s a must.
So your build would look something like this:
Cleric C2 > Priest C3/Dievdirby C3 > X > X (Cleric C2 can be taken later if you go for the Priest path so you can focus on Priest early on).
So what can you choose for rank 6 and 7?
For Priest:
Chaplain > Plague Doctor: Chaplain is the Hidden class for Priest C3 so it works around Priest’s abilities in order to use Chaplain’s skills, however for a full support some people might disagree with taking him because he’s more to improve your solo gameplay, Plague Doctor gives you CC Inmunity up to rank 3 with it’s abilities aswell as Healing Factor, a strong regeneration ability.
Krivis > Plague Doctor: The alternative to Chaplain, you get Daino which helps you a lot since you’ve a bunch of buffs so you won’t overwrite your party members buffs, Plague Doctor for the same reasons stated above, with Daino scrolls you don’t really need to go Krivis unless you don’t want to waste money on it.
Oracle > Kabbalist: Not really a popular pick but it’s an option if you’re not really into Plague Doctor, Oracle gives you a SP/Stamina buff, predict movements from enemies, Counter Spell which is nice to prevent magic dmg and Prophecy to prevent rank 1 cc (which is nice since Kabbalist doesn’t have any of that), Kabbalist with Ein Sof is a really nice SP regen ability with the attribute, also increases your max hp, Merkabah deals somewhat decent dmg and Revenged Sevenfold can be used to totally nullify a boss attack, so with perfect timing you could mitigate the total dmg of a boss aoe for example.
For Dievdirby:
Krivis > Plague Doctor: As stated before, Krivis for Daino and Plague Doctor for Healing Factor regeneration and cc inmunity up to rank 3 cc (even though you don’t really hae that many buffs it’s still nice to have Daino), you can buy Daino scrolls and skip Krivis entirely too.
Priest > Plague Doctor: Priest being the only class in the Cleric tree capable to ressurect, it could come in handy to just have 1 rank of it to get it.
Druid C2: Though this is more of an offensive build, you still get some utility out of it with Sterea Trofh which gives you inmunity, alongside your statue Ausrine and Safety Zone you’ve a lot of inmunity at your disposal.
Oracle > Kabbalist: Once again not a popular choice but an alternative to Plague Doctor, same reasons as stated in the Priest segment.
Those are the build possibilities I could think about, as for the must have skills or useless skills it really depends of what classes you pick or what you like the most, since it changes depending of what you choose.
As for the rating, I’d give 5/5 to Priest and 4/5 to Dievdirby, the reason is because Dievdirby struggles when he has to move around a lot so he can’t fully use his statues (also requires a lot of communication with the party so they kill stuff inside the statues buffs), while Priest doesn’t have that problem and it’s more smooth in that matter.
