I would like to hear a comment from IMC as to if we are getting new servers for F2P launch or not. The reason is the fact that I have some friends planning to give the game a try once it goes F2P, they don’t like the idea of starting on an already established server. Secondly if there are indeed plans for a new server(s), then I would probably take a break in playing until then in order to play with said friends on launch.
I really hope they don’t open Klaipeda gates to F2P community at any point.

I did indeed read the announcements where the IF quote is found. That was posted quite a long time ago, actually before the overload of the EA servers. Just looking for clarification if indeed any plans have been decided.
But you are right, most likely it is just wait and see. Unfortunately i think if they do not open new servers my friends will probably take a pass. But oh well.
My guess is they wouldn’t open the new ones on the first day, the moment our forum starts to be flooded with “QUEUE TIME *&%^%$&!@!^” that’s probably the cue for them to open the next server. Don’t mind me asking, why would your friend drop the game if there isn’t a new server? Economy?
But tbh with the free transfer Klapeida/Orsha will definitely have at least 10% more capacity
Well not just the economy, but they both feel like they would be starting at a huge disadvantage (Which is fair considering people paid for EA). But I know they both like to feel competitive. I am hoping i can convince them to play even if there is no new server.
Well giving up on ToS just because of ranking is really kinda lame imo lol. Maybe you should just explain it to them since the ranking only works for that particular character, you have to be actually familiar and experience with the game to actually be in the top few, new server or not. I assure there will be other veteran players who will choose to play on the new servers for economy control anyway.
Economy wise well… you don’t really need to buy anything while leveling your first character. And after this EA, most players already know the actual worth of items.
