Hi everyone,

i dont want you to think hard how to get the correct number

i got a technique which allows you to get the reward for maximum of 4 tries

  1. Select 5
  2. if npc tells you number is higher choose 7
    if npc tells you number is lower choose 3
  3. if both fail and ask for higher choose 9
    if both fail and ask for lower choose 2
  4. so correct answer is 8 if lower then 10 if higher
    correct answer below if lower answer is 1 other wise its 4

This is a method call binary search, well, nothing new to a programmer like me, but is handy to many others :slight_smile:

What if choosing 7 says I need lower, and choosing 6 says I need higher?

LF> 6.5

You can round either up or down, it doesn’t matter, as long as you keep it coherent and always round the same way for your next attempts.

What I meant was, I can’t do the event for some reason.

I’ve tried every number from 1 to 10, none were the right number.
6 claims I need to try higher
7 claims I need to try lower.

The “6.5” was a joke.

Hmmm… That sounds like a bug then, you should probably open a support ticket if you went through all 10 numbers and got nothing.

Not trolling. I just tried again, choosing 6 says higher, choosing 7 says lower. I’ve already spent like 115 tree root essences to find the right number and no dice.

Time to send that support ticket…though by the time I get an answer it’ll have probably already reset for tomorrow :sob:
