okay, i don’t know if im the only one who encountered this, but I can’t complete this quest? i checked all the purifiers but none of them are accessible. It happened after i killed the District6 boss, completed the quest, then got disconnected from server. Actually I got the same problem just instead of it being the district 4 boss it was the district 6 boss and the purifier tied to him the passage one i believe?

Hmm, I don’t remember having an issue with this quest. What order did you do the purifiers in, if you can remember? I think it would be better with quests like these if they listed them 1 purifier at a time.
hmm let me try to remember… okay first the D1 purifier(the Vubbe killing quest), then D3(using the compass), then D4(boss fight and get the material), then the last purifier(uses the compass then boss fight), then it should be back to the D3 purifier, but i cant acces it.
EDIT: okay, i figured out that the bug isnt actually the quest itself but the UI of the quest, if you just continue to floor2 you can actually get the next quest. I hope they still fix this tho, cuz its confusing for beginners.

i have similar problem
the quest says its complete, theres a blue flag, but theres no NPC to advance int he game. i cant find any npc to finish the quest. already talked to every npc and stuff in the city, in the village, and in the mine. i try to explore the 3f of the mine, but theres monsters lv 104 and stuff there.
i really dont know what to do to advance in the game.
help.

Yeah, the quest shouldn’t be tagged as Complete yet. It’s confusing to everyone. 
The district 2 purifier quest wouldn’t work for me in mouse mode I had to switch to keyboard mode in order to finish the quest.
Hello! I am having a problem somewhat similar to this.
When I enter the Miner’s Village, I do not see a cutscene of the villagers/alchemist being kidnapped. I am able to take up the Mayor’s quest to destroy the vubbes at their base, however I do not receive a quest to save the villagers/alchemist. I am able to trigger the boss fight with the Red Vubbe Fighter after opening the chest, however after defeating him and speaking with the Alchemist, he does not return to the Village and instead continues to stand next to the Vubbe hut. Because of this, I am unable to move through with any of the Crystal Mine purifiers.
The server is lagging, but u can confirm that this quest works fine as i just finished it and about to start the crystal mine chain quest.
Try changing channels, if that does not work then wait till they take down the servers and give a another shot tomorrow :).
I should mentioned that this has been going on for the past three days and that I have had this issue on three characters in the game now.
I’ve tried a number of things including changing channels and even tagging along with party members who have made new characters in hopes that their trigger of the quest might help my game to move along. Unfortunately none of it works.
Server ? If you are in Orsha than you are not in luck as the lag is getting really bad now.
Sadly this may be the server that is not work as it should.
You have to initiate and complete main (yellow) quest line up until miner’s village: west siaulai > klaipeda quests > east siaulai. Only then will you get quest to help miners/alchemist.
If you dont see quests - try pressing F5 in game and check if any quests are inactive.
