I noticed that ice pike is really weird, in that it hits anywhere between 1 to 3 hits.
So far from testing it seems like the spell actually has 3 separate hitboxes arranged in a line, and on smaller enemies to get all 3 hits you have to hit them dead in the middle, while bigger ones and bosses will usually catch more than one no problem. Can anyone confirm?
You got it. That’s what I have observed. Align your Ice Pike to get the most damage.
I’ve heard people saying it actualy got 8 little hit boxes lined in front of your, so not only the monster have to be right over the line, but you can still get only 2 hits if he is not right in the middle of one of the hitboxes.
I’m playing Wiz > Cryo > Kino 2 as my alt at the moment and I can easily sai you land more than 3 hits on bosses.
