Cryo ice Blast or Gust?

Because i dont get a clear answer ingame i ask here.

What do you guys use ? Also that question is NOT just only for the Ice Wall combo ! Because all answers i get go like “This because Ice Wall”.

Right now i played with both skills on lv ten (to test them) and i have to say Gust seems to deal far better dmg then Blast. Blast on the other hand as a HUGE AoE around the Ice wall but sadly no shards from the Wall.

So what would be better late in the game ? The AoE from Blast or the shard spread from Gust (and the x3 dmg against frozen). ?

Ice Blast does more raw damage then Gust.
Ice Blast has Enhance Attribute, Gust dosent.

Ice Blast can only hit up to 8 targets per cast and only 1 hit per target.
Gust can trigger Ice Shards from Ice Wall, so good to have at least 1 level in it.

I like blast better because there’s a hidden interaction with frost pillar. Even if the mobs aren’t frozen as long as frost pillar is up any 8 units around you can be blasted
