I want to make a Swordman>Peltasta>Highlander c3>Doppel.
Should I skill Crossguard?
Or is guardian enough?
its better to do high 3 barb 1 doppel, you need barb 1 for that build, i’d build con and get at least 5 points into crossguard to compensate for the lack of peltasta circle.
Now if you REALLY want to go for that route, it really depends whether you’d want to use weapon swap or not
if not then yea i’d put a few points into crossguard.
I have no problem with weapon swaping.
The plan was to pull the mobbs with shield and swap to 2-handet sword to deal damage and if its needed use crossguard or guardian.

i’m just gonna say that going barb 1 will increase your late game damage significantly, your choice from now on.
Peltasta just doesn’t fit in every single build.
Well im just afraid to play solo till max lvl without peltasta c1 ^^
i have a swordsman c3 cata c3 dragoon c1 at lvl 280 without any peltasta circle, soloed just fine
just add a good amount of con (about 70-100) and you’ll be fine.
I think whether you pick peltasa or not is depending on your playstyle. If you like solo that much, you can skip pelt. Otherwise, having peltasa really help on parties and gathering mobs
I was thinking about this as well… and once I reconsider sword->pelt->barb c2-> highlander->doppel c2 but it’s not as good as barb3 or high3
@sheeon1988 if you’re going doppel, you shouldn’t take guardian. take cross guard and it works better with str
Edit:also if you see post by @razm2888 having cata 3 without pelt is fine because movement speed and provoke attr. can works fine pulling aggro without swashbuckling so it’s doable in parties

If you did the lvling solo, then yeah. But the problem with the game is the lack of players. With more players around, you could exclude non-pelts easily cause they dont contribute to a party at all. The only reason you are allowed in is the exp bonus for all 4 base classes. Much like Archers are carried by Elememes as well, only there for exp bonus.
And again, Pelt1 does not stand in opposition to a solo or PVP build. You can call for mobs instead of having to walk to each of them. You also get a great HP bonus with 100% uptime.
Yeah thats the thing i dont want to solo lvling the whole time and want to be usefull for a party.
Thats why i prefer Highlander c3 over Barbarian.
I can pull the mobbs and give debuffs crown/armorbreak/bleeding.
At least that was the plan ^^
Well after Playing for a while okay farming for a while i changed my mint ^^
I want to drop Peltasta and get Barb c1 mainly for Cleave.
I Still have no clue about the Doppel Skills…
The only thing i know is to take DoV and Cyclone is DoV 5 enough?
And im not sure about the States i was thinking something like 4 str 1 con and 2 Dex?
