Crit Damage = crit rate?

I’ve seen people building characters with only dexterity and no strength, and their hits would be OHKO on high level monsters (160+). I saw their builds, and they really only had dex, no str, is this formula correct? As far as I know, your dex raises your critical rate, not your damage. Even though you reach 50% of crit rate, if you have no crit damage, you shouldn’t deal so much damage.

Anyways, I’d just like to know how the critical damage works.

Also, are skills affected by critical?

Yes, skills can crit. And most barbs run with yellow gems on their weapons(raise crit attack).

Skills don’t scale good with strength. That’s why skill builds put everything in Dex to get a high critrate. They use Lapis Katzbalger to get Crit Damage and with that they kill everything.

Physical Skills can crit. Magical don’t
