I’m particularly bored, and decided why the hell not do something fun. theorycrafting is a fun hobby, but whats more fun then theorycrafting then building your own from the ground up to add to the theory. what if a class existed that could replace the ever so mandatory peltasta? What if elementalist wasnt the be all end all DPS for wizard? this is the thread to do that, be it serious ‘this sounds like a good idea’ additions, or even idea’s you’ve had bottled up that don’t quite make sense for the game itself. I’ll start it off even.
Magical Girl - Wizard - Rank 5 - Gold[Mixed]
Circle 1
Magical Transformation - 1 point skill - self buff(Cant be shared)
Description: You can’t be a true magical girl without a transformation, even if it’s only cosmetic.
Effect: Transforms the user into a magical girl
Benefits: Movement speed + 5, Treated as a flying unit, all magic attacks deals an additional 150 damage hit, gain 5% of your max SP as Magic Amp
SP cost: 0.5% SP drain/second(Toggle skill)
Scatterblast - 15 point skill - damage skill
Description - shoot a volley of mana blasts at an area dealing continuous damage to all targets in the area
Effect: damage 200/234/302/336/370(+34/level cont.). duration 5/6/7/8/9(+1/level cont).
SP cost: 40 +4/level
Cooldown: 30s
Attributes: Damage 0-100. Scatterblast splash 0-5: gives each blast that hits a target a splash radius that deals damage to targets near the enemy. 50/100/150/200/250 radius.
Physical Barrier - 15 point skill - party buff
description: the magical girl outputs her magic to protect her friends
effect: channeled 5-19 seconds(+1s/level), while active gives the party members in range additional Physical defense (150+25/level).
SP cost: 20 +2SP/level
Cooldown: 20seconds
attributes: Physical barrier - Magic defense 1: Adds magic defense scaling starting at 50.
Physical Barrier - Reflect 1: Reflects physical damage at 5% of the damage taken.
Physical barrier - Moving barrier 1: Enables movement while channeling physical barrier
Summon Contractor - 5 point skill - Overheat2
Description: the magical girl calls upon her contractor for a bit of help
Effect: contractor applies an effect to the area at random based on the skill level(Only one effect will apply per cast):
lv1: deal damage(100%) to enemies in a 200 aoe around the contractor.
lv2: allies in a 200 aoe of the contractor gain the benefits of the casters current level of physical barrier for 5 seconds.
Lv3: Enemies in a 200 aoe of the contractor start taking damage equal to the current level of the casters scatterblast for 5 seconds.
lv4: Allies in a 200 aoe of the contractor are healed for 5% of their max hp
lv5: enemies in a 200 aoe of the contractor have their defense reduced by the amount the casters current level of physical barrier would provide
SP cost: 50SP
cooldown: 50 seconds
Circle 2
Magic Berserker - 1 point skill - self buff
Effect: The magical girl enters a tranced state of increased power at the cost of greater sp drain
Benefit: increases the benefits of magical transformation by double, but increase SP drain per second to 2.5% and you can only cast Magical Girl spells during the trance.
Activation cost: 100SP
Attributes: Magic Berserker - Super Armor 0-1: increase the defensive benefits of your armor by 1.5x and prevent stun/knockback
Magic Berserker - Body Bash: deal damage equal to 120% of your magic attack when colliding with enemies(Collision damage applies a 1.5 second debuff preventing the target from being hit by collision until the debuff is gone)
Magical Overdrive - 10 point skill - overheat 3
Effect: The magical girl calls upon her reserves and trades HP for SP
Benefit: exchange HP for SP:
Lv1 800HP = 400 SP
Lv2 1000HP = 600 SP
Lv3 1200HP = 800 SP
Lv4 1400HP = 1000 SP
Lv5 1600HP = 1200 SP
etc
SP Cost: 0
Cooldown 20s
Circle 3
Magical Overdrive - 5 point skill - damage skill
Effect: the magical girl expends all remaining mana for a huge explosion
Activation pre-requisite: Remaining mana 50/55/60/65/70%
Damage = 500% of all mana burned + 200% magic damage, dealt as damage to all enemies in a 1000 AoE radius of the magical girl. SP reduced to 0.
Cooldown - 1 minute 30 seconds
Attributes: Magical Overdrive Damage 1-100. Magical Overdrive - Stun 1: Upon recieving damage from Magical Overdrive, enemies are stunned for 2.5 seconds.
couldn’t think of much else, but i think its fairly balanced all things considered, though perhaps thats just me, i’d totally play it myself lol.
