Crafting: Naming and Memo

I crafted a couple items and noticed I was forced to give the crafted item a name. There was also an option to add a memo note to the item.

Is there anything important I should know about this? Like, any good or bad things about customizing the name or adding memo notes?

You are not forced to give a name or memo, so you can leave them blank.

It’s optional you can leave it blank if you don’t want to name your item.
