what’s the point of getting recipes dropped from monsters that produce lvl 75 stuff but require you to kill enemies that are lvl 93+…
is it so damn hard to implement a crafting system that is useful WHILE leveling up and useful ENDGAME too?

By lvl 75 you mean the actual item level or the required character level to equip it? That can be confusing sometimes.
Just for example, this weapon can be created by a recipe:
As you can see, the fuctuating tooltip from in-game only shows the level that is required for the user and the actual item level (the one that means how good its stats are) is not present anywhere in-game. The only way I’ve found to see it was on database page; as you can see, it’s lv 74 rather than 40 and that’s a huge difference.
I’m not sure if that’s exactly your case, but I guess information is always welcome:blush:
oh sorry, i haven’t made that clear. im talking about the level required to equip the item, not the item level itself.
i just find it hard to craft items for my level as almost any recipe i came across needs ingredients that are way above the current level i need to equip that crafted item. while i can understand that rarity plays a role too, i haven’t had any real benefit of the current crafting system outside of quest-item-crafting.
the kris for example is a lvl 40 weapon (character level) and it’s recipe needs shackles which drop off dumaros that are lvl 65… by the time im farming stuff for the kris, im already lvl 75 and need a lvl 75 weapon which is again only being found or crafted on enemies with lvl 90+ etc…
I get what you’re saying but i think that’s intended.
The way things are now forces you to buy equipments from someone in the marketplace in order to use it early and then when you can craft it yourself, you can sell it to someone else.
But i do agree with you that this is kinda frustrating. I just accepted it and now i buy stuff and sell later xD
that’s what im doing right now too. im just selling everything i don’t need and as soon as i hit a new mark (40, 75, 120 etc) im just buying stuff. sad as i like crafting but not if it’s like this, especially if the recipe is part of the crafting and gets consumed. like you are smoking it …
