To keep it short my question is:
“Given the fact that we can’t trade items between players and that we can’t give earnings our crafters will do selling stuff to our other characters how can a crafter actually be a useful class in this game?”
Well u can buy equipment with high left over potential and transfer it via account storage if you have the token buff.
Also you could make money to buy tokens via the market for silver that applies to your account.
You could also have a alt post items on the market and buy them with your crafter but youll be taking a 30-10% silver loss every purchase.
But yes with the current system crafting classes have a very limited worth.
So basically what you’re saying is that without a token a crafting class is almost totally useless… that would compare as all crafting classes be locked behind a paywall wouldn’t it?
Uhmm that’s an idea but i wonder: how muc time will it take every single month to earn enough silver to buy a token? Cause if every month you’ll be stuck on the crafter to buy tokens and you’ll have no tiime at all to play the rest of the game than the game itself will be onlyt boring and people will quit don’t you think? 
Ok, this is a solid idea but really a game that forces players to do something like this… 
Yea crafters are a lot worse if u don’t have a token.
Im not sure how long with a crafter, but on Ktos tokens were selling for 1-1.7mil silver. if your max lvl you can grind 300k silver/hr (low end assumption you can do better) so honestly its just easier to grind income with a good dps character. However crafters can earn silver while offline but from what i understand their profit margins are pretty low due to heavy consumables (i haven’t touched the crafter classes so get a second opinion all my info on this is second hand)
Yea a lot of people are displeased with the system as asking for change, but currently these are the methods available to us.

You can’t buy items you put on AH by yourself, so game isn’t forcing you to do it.
Also crafters have passive income, you can play other characters or just turn off your PC while trading.
I wonder if there is any guide on crafters over there.
Yeah crafter have passive useless income since that income will stay on a crafter, not beeing able to put silver in the storage and give it to your mains, and you’ll never use the crafter to do anything PvE or PvP wise…
Ahem, it was answer about token farming. You can put your crafter to simply farm tokens for you PASSIVELY.
