Could the IMC create a new base class. The Thief Class

I kinda like how thieves are somewhat divided among the different class trees personally. Makes it feel more like “anyone can be a thief”.
Shinobi, Rogue, Corsair, Scout, and maybe even Shadowmancer could be a magic-thief archetype (whenever that comes out…).

Also, if you speak to the Girl from the event atm, you can find out some lore about the Monk Master embezzling money from the Doppel and Reiter Masters, on top of doing other shady stuff.
So even Clerics aren’t exempt from thievery.

How many things need steal’n or can go in such a tree?

R1: Thief
R2: Purse Snatcher, Pickpocketer, Prankster
R3: Addict, Burglar
R4: Impersonator, Prostitute
R5: Mountjacker, Sex Offender
R6: Drug Dealer, Procurer
R7: Con Artist, Hacker
R8: Kingpin, Politician
Hidden Class: Fence. Sells stuff from back of a Van/Carriage.

I just wanna have a Hidden Class dedicated to Corsairs C3…Include a Pirate hat, eye patch as Headgears with it…

That’s too specific. What do you want them to be ? Thieves, assassins… and ? In terms of skills and classes it’d be pretty rodundant.
I’m fine with them adding more thief-like circles, but a whole tree wouldn’t be really feasible for 10 ranks. You wouldn’t have that much diversity, they’d all go back to the same theme and kinds of skills: killing, stealing, scamming.
In this sense though the thief tree already exists: shops that put their materials/buffs for 1M+ and trick people who aren’t careful enough

• seems to fit well for a hidden class that requires Corsair 3 as a prerequisite (like P3-Chaplain). The name isn’t generic Pirate either.

yeah but i feel swordies really feel like rogues besides the things like barbarian, lancer, pelt and things like that… fencers, corsairs kinda feel and look like rogues…

but yeah i agree would be cool to have another tree
