Can someone explain the difference of using a dagger vs a shield? Obviously I know a shield is more defensive and allows me to block, but what does a dagger provide in a shields place?
If you press C it attacks, the only useful daggers (Unless you’re a corsair) will give elemental attack. (Arde give something like +127 fire attack which will apply to all skills and attacks.)
So i basically have to be a corsair to make use of a dagger?
Yep, unless it has extra property damage.
That sucks man, wasn’t really looking to go corsair, guess my best bet would be tying to get an arde dagger which is highly unlikely, or swapping back to a shield
It’s the reason arde is so popular, also it’s practically the only dagger you can get at low levels.
If this is how it is I might as well keep using a shield until I get a dagger with elemental damage property
