My friend started the quest to fight the Denoptic Eye in Ashaq Prison 3F, but I was not called into the fight, being prompted with a message saying that I had to close the “store” that I had open before joining his quest.

We had recently changed the chanel because of a bug with the same boss, regarding his invincibility.
