Continuing news that Indonesian publisher will conduct trials Tree Of Savior .
in the event list is written that fans will meet with developers .
Who is he/she?
Could he " Kim Hakkyu " will come to gemscool arena ?
No one has to know about it
Looks like he’s going according to MMOCulture:
still not amused. . wanna play international . . no to gemscool
Just enjoy the event and get as many informations as you can, then share it to us.
Honestly I only care how the interaction between devs and players would go at the test instead of the publisher.
If it’s true according to FatePGN’s sharing, then I really hoped that Mr. Kim prepares the time with Indo testers to discuss & make the best solution regarding IP Ban. I’d really appreciate if Mr. Kim do the discussion, regardless if the solution favors in us or not (Though I want to play internationally too).
But still, goodluck with the test and have fun guys : ).
Publishers control how they monetize the game and localise the files. A game can be easier or harder depending on the publisher. It also is entirely up to them on how F2P it becomes and how P2W it becomes. This can be something that’s there from the very beginning or creeps in over time. I’d care a lot more about which publisher a good looking game gets placed with if I were you.
I agree with your points, publishers can adjust the “game rules” according to their tastes.
I think my words confused abit, I meant that I will only pay attention to the dev-player interaction only in the Test.
About the publisher’s behavior, nearly all of the players criticized about how bad the service from the local publisher is. I have nothing to say about the publisher since I still lack the experience playing the games from said publisher and I mostly play games from International Server. Hence I won’t really paying attention the publisher, but rather more on the dev and player side. On the other hand, I also feel I’m more comfortable playing in International Server (Sorry if I offend some people here, no offense). But then if it’s decided to be local, well I will enjoy it as much as I can regardless of the P2W/cash features.
But paying attention about which publisher is going to publish the game is also a good alternative for those who have a good background/experience about MMO publishers in their region.
Nice! This makes me sad though… due to the fact that I didn’t get invited by them to the test event.
Nah, I think the participant selection itself is pretty hard considering there were a lot of players who want to attend the event. Gemscool must select carefully and experienced - old players are probably their primary target in the first place.
