Subweapon cancel is carzy! Dang this Corsairs does not even have Barbarian rank… Imagine how powerfull this would have been with barbarian buffss…

its just that corsair that sucks …he didnt build right…he doesnt even have barbarian -.-
Because it lack Barbarian damage buffs… Highlander + Corsairs is not good build…

He was demonstrating it, his damage is fine.
with barb skills he could probably get 3 hits for each rotation of melee if the offhand stabs.
If ya haven’t noticed yet no one would be able to hurt the boss in that state if that’s why you think the damage is poop it’s not.
That damage is painfully low. It’s almost like I was watching myself suffering as I try to kill a boss with my Petalsta (solo).
That said, it does look fun…
After playing a bit and thinking,going barbarian instead of going highlander c2/3 seemed better for me.Increasing your crit rate,turning your 2h sword basic attacks to stab(which will be extremely important for pvp,I think) is way too good to pass.Combo seems nice,fast but does it worth it ?
That 2handed highlander sword crit attribute doesn’t work for corsair I don’t think??..Im just wondering if Deed of Valor for dopple hits faster then Corsairs subweapon…if both were full buffed
NO… If u combine SAvagery with Corsairs its literally going to be machine…

It does not works but Savagery: Critical occurrence can increase your Critical probability of skill [Savagery] by 5% per Attribute level.
Savagery give double attack for Corsair which make attack speed even faster but sadly the skill is now broken… The damage output is low…

So basically, yeah, Corsair is a very viable class to fill a slot in the DPS role in a party. They only lack burst damage, that is all. Continuing my reaction from this similar video at ToSGame, picking Highlander is absolutely fine since Swordsman’s buffs won’t scale that high at later game (buffs are only fixed numbers, not percentage), but no more than Circle 2. You’ll lose Barbs precious skills once you pick Highlander Circle 3, just to get Moulinet.
Is his auto damage output low because he doesn’t have barbarian is that why? is that only reason?
Yes and not only that hes not even using all of Concentrate buff of swordman…
i thought only barb c3 can have savagery for slash?

You missed out an important reason why he went Highlander 3 before going into Corsair.
Also his stats is mainly pure dex as he goes full evasion build. More info here:

the build is still shitty because savagery can increase your critical rate for 5% per attribute level… Lack of str explains why his damage is even shittier.
they already removed the attribute for slash repeat. i didnt see it in my barb c2.
